This is a recording taken from about 7 years ago when I was documenting sounds from home. For another sampling see Symphony of the Domestic. This piece, Monstration, has been installed in the gallery by using a directional speaker situated in the ceiling pointing downward toward the floor. Installed in this way, the viewer would literally walk through the sound waves experiencing the tantrum somewhat intimately; just as a tantrum by a child happens in the safe, intimate space of the home.

The title merges the two concepts of "demonstration" and "mostrare" which means "to show" in Italian.
