Looking In: In Looking
This is a performative sculpture that consisted of a plywood house structure with windows. The windows are photographs that I took of other peoples' houses with curtains drawn at night. They are printed on vellum. There are lights on the interior of the house and two peepholes (door viewers) on either side of the roof. The piece is performed with me inside. Only my head and legs extend out from the house. Upon looking in the peepholes, the viewer is confronted with the unexpected.
